Vtg c. 1930’s 1940’s CHERRY DROP Art Deco Celluloid Fruit Necklace Bakelite Era

VINTAGE CELLULOID CHAIN NECKLACE “CHERRY DROP”. San Francisco Estate Item. Such a fun statement piece, and in excellent condition! Perfect for Spring and Summer! The chain is a soft brown color, crafted from celluloid links. Please admire how the links were cut and glued together by hand– look for the little “splits”! It is in good condition, there are some areas of light color fading but this is hardly noticeable (observe photos). The leaves are earthy green colored celluloid plastic. The “cherries” are vivid red celluloid drop pendants with a beautiful shiny finish. Gorgeous mix of colors! The metal rings have been replaced. This necklace has been cleaned and is ready for immediate wear. Please be careful if you decided to clean this piece yourself, modern cleansers can harm vintage plastics, remove their surface finish, and discolor them!
