Vtg 1930s Art Deco Molded Flower Coral Glass Dangle Festoon Pendant Necklace

Glass made to simulate carved coral was a popular design during the 1930s and this necklace is an elaborate example. The glass cabochons are in a variety of shapes and sizes with crisp floral designs and a vibrant pink hue. The setting and overall design is influenced by the Art Nouveau, with winding leaves and draping chains giving this necklace a full and dynamic silhouette. The delicate swooping chains and dangling pendant give this necklace a nice amount of movement when worn. This piece is fresh looking and was well taken care of, the minimal amounts of wear are noticeable only on close inspection. The setting has a bright patina with very little darkening or discoloration. The glass has a smooth and gleaming surface without any chipping and a modest amount of scratching.
