Vtg 1930 Art Deco Open Back Black White Crystal Glass Necklace & Bracelet

Vintage open back crystal glass convertible necklace and matching bracelet. This necklace and bracelet are made with clear square crystal and rectangle black opaque crystals. The strands come together at the front and make a drop with the pronged crystal and finish with a large faceted tear drop crystal. This crystal has a chip on the bottom point and on one side point of the crystal. The crystal are all faceted on the sides with pointed backs. They are prong set in a silver tone metal with fancy stamped pattern on the back which gives it a nice detail. The silver tone metal is bright with no discoloration to the metal. The tiny oval links between the crystal are a little bent or misshapen. There are some chips to the crystals mostly on the corners of the clear square ones but one black one has a bigger chip on the corner, if you look at the photos carefully you will see it. There are some tiny nips on the edges. This piece is not marked. It closes with a spring clasp. Necklace is 20″ long with 4 1/4″ drop X 3/8 wide. Bracelet is 7 1/4 long. It also closes with a spring clasp but it doesn’t look original to the set as it is marked STERLING. What I thought was great about this set was you can add the bracelet to the back with the spring clasp which makes the necklace 27 long. Please roll over all 12 photos.
