Vintage Jewellery Jakob Bengel Machine Age Art Deco Galalith Pendant Necklace
A fabulous vintage Art Deco 1930’s machine age pendant necklace by’Jakob Bengel’. The superb polished galalith pendant measures 42mm x 50mm at the widest points and has to the centre a lovely shimmering real aventurine cabochon which measures 15mm diameter. The pendant is attached to the necklace by a chromed metal bar measuring approximately 30mm x 5mm. Either side of the metal bar is a chromed metal ball measuring 12mm diameter with a lovely black glass half moon shape bead next to it and followed by a slightly curved chromed tube measuring 50mm x 5mm and finally a smaller chromed ball. Attached to the smaller chromed ball is the chromed snake chain which fastens with a good’c’ clasp. The necklace itself measures approximately 46cm overall length not including the pendant. As with Jakob Bengel items this necklace is not signed, however it is a genuine and rare 1930s Jakob Bengel piece and is in such excellent vintage condition that it would be very suitable for a collector.
