This listing is for a Vintage Green Guilloche ENAMEL’Octagonal’ Ball Pendant Watch. This watch is STERLING Silver, and it is hung on a Sterling silver watch chain/Necklace. The Chain is detailed with some opaque Green enamel links! This is a Manual Wind watch. This watch is Currently Running with some starts and stops. It will tick, and sometimes it STOPS Ticking -if you rotate it in your hand, it tends to tick again. It seems to run best in the’hanging’ position, and generally stops ticking when it is on its side. We have NOT CLEANED or Serviced this item. This watch will need to be CLEANED and/or SERVICED PRIOR TO USE. [we check to see that a watch is running, though we Don’t Check to see that it is keeping good time]. This watch is Being offered for Restoration. This is a USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report. Sterling silver, Enamel, Watch, movement, Plastic crystal, Dial, in box etc. Signed : The watch has some hallmarks inside. The moment is marked Fifteen 15 Jewels, Two 2 Adjustments, SWISS, GOERING WATCH CO. The inside of the case is marked GOERING SWISS, STERLING SILVER 0.925, with hallmarks/a case number etc. The chain is marked STERLING on both catches the catch that holds the watch, as well as the catch in the back of the necklace. Dimensions : the watch measures approximately 7/8 or so in diameter at the largest points measuring point to point across the octagon -NOT including the winding knob. From the outside of the winding knob to the opposite side of the watch case, this item is about 15/16 wide. From the top of the hanging loop to the bottom of the crystal, this item is about 7/8 tall. The main necklace loop on the chain measures about 24 1/4″ around, and the chain section that the watch attaches to measures about 4 1/4″ long from the end of the catch to where it attaches to the main chain. The enamel chain links are about 1.7mm wide at the largest points, and the sterling chain links are around 2mm wide at the largest points. Gemstones : This item is detailed with ENAMEL. Weight : 25.8 grams TOTAL (watch on chain -NOT including the box). This watch is currently Running with some starts/stops. It will tick, and sometimes it stops ticking. If you rotate it in your hand it tends to tick again. We have NOT CLEANED or Serviced this item. We check to see that a watch is running though we DON’T Check to see if it is keeping good time. This watch will need AT LEAST A Cleaning/Servicing PRIOR TO USE. The crystal is plastic and likely a later replacement. The enamel on the ball watch itself seems to be in good condition, with only a few small dings, nicks, chips, flakes scratches/wear and imperfections in some areas. The enamel links on the chain have some chips, dings, nicks, flakes (some are rather large chips) see images. The metal is sterling silver, and there are some scratches/scuffs, dings, nicks, wear and imperfections on the silver in some areas. The silver has some patina, tarnish and discoloration in some areas as well, and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in some areas if desired. The silver might have had a vermeil gold wash on it originally? Though much of the gold is worn away. The box has several scratches/scuffs, dings, nicks, tears, wear and imperfections in some areas. The box has some soiling, discoloration, and imperfections as well -see images. Please see images to get a closer look at this items condition.
