Vintage Art Deco machine age Jakob bengel chrome and galilath pendant necklace
A fabulous vintage art Deco machine age chromed pendant necklace which is by Jakob Bengel and unsigned. The necklace measures 40 cm long with a c type clasp. The pendant is a rectangular shape and measures 3 cm by 2.5 cm. There is a black section of galilath with a chromed geometric Design over the top and a decoration of a multi faceted pink glass crystal to the centre. The links either side are shiny angular chrome and are attached with shiny chrome rings and textured rings. There are two small rivets to the reverse showing the quality of the design. It is a superb piece dating from the 1920 – 30s. The chrome remains lovely and bright, the galilath has extremely fine crazing and the crystal is open set and is perfect. This fabulous piece is in excellent vintage condition. Please note that the display box is not included in the sale, many thanks.
