O XFORD J EWEL. Vintage Art Deco Fruit Salad Glass Flower Necklace. At the widest points of the central pendant. Works securely, is not original to the piece. Alloy (does not test for silver content), Glass. This necklace has a colorful and sparkling floral design with clusters of teeny tiny rhinestones accenting the setting. The chain at the back of the piece is older but I think it is a replacement chain and is not original to the piece. There are no leaves or flowers missing and they all look original to the piece. There are no chips to the flowers or leaves. There are no rhinestones missing, one tiny one has gone completely dark and a few more have yellowed or gone smoky but they are noticeable mainly on close inspection. There is one setting and rhinestone missing from the center of a red flower on the pendant but it is noticeable only upon inspection and not as the piece is worn. The setting has a bright patina without any signs of solder or repair. Overall this is a colorful and sparkling, fruit salad glass necklace, that is from the 1920.
