O XFORD J EWEL. Vintage Art Deco Cherry Amber Bakelite Bead Necklace. Width The largest bead is 3/4. Tests positive for Bakelite with Simichrome. This necklace has a nice profile with beads that graduate in size getting larger at the front. The necklace is on its original strand and is strung on red cotton string, it is still firm without any loosening or gaps in the strand. There are a few little dings and grooves to the beads but nothing noticeable except on very close inspection and the bakelite beads are very fresh looking with a nice sheen. Overall this is a richly colored and striking, cherry amber bakelite bead necklace, that is from the 1930. S and is in Excellent condition. _gsrx_vers_625 GS 6.9.7 (625).
