Vintage Art Deco Brass Collar Blue Enamel Panel French Style Swag Necklace
This Vintage Art Deco Collar has a. Blue and Light Blue Enamel, each Tile separated by a French Style half Moon Shaped Scrolled and Tooled Swags. The Enamel Panels and Scrolled, Swag Medallions are connected in line, on each side with links. This Necklace has nine Blue and light blue Panels. Eight of those Panels measure 3/4″ by 3/8″. And one center Panel that measures 1-1/4″ by 3/4″. There are 8 Scrolled Swag Medallions and this necklace is connected by a Screw style clasp. This Art Deco Enamel Necklace measures 16-1/2 in length. Under magnification we see several minute firing “pops” and one dimple (about the size of the pointy end of a pin head) in a corner where the enamel didn’t spread to the edge. This is so small we can’t photograph it. There are traces of a Gold wash on both the front and back of this Necklace. On the back there is discoloration on some of the panels.
