Superb Vintage Art Deco Signed Chinese Jade Hardstone and Silver Panel Necklace. A fabulous quality vintage Art Deco signed Chinese jade & silver necklace. Stunning design with mounted circular jade drop, suspended from a chain with circular silver panels and embossed Chinese lettering, and two octagonal jade panels. Tested as silver by the dealer I acquired this from years ago, the fineness was a minimum of 800/1000ths purity (800 silver)….. May have been higher. Three of the panels have Chinese writing to the back (see photos). In good vintage condition, left uncleaned as preferred by many buyers. The bolt ring fastener is base metal and currently fastens directly onto a very small ring, could do with a larger ring to be added (very simple & inexpensive to do). Measurements: chain is 17.75″ long, circular jade drop is 7/8″ in diameter, the silver Chinese letter panels are 5/8 in diameter. A truly beautiful necklace in wear.
