Rare Art Deco 2-coloured bakelite, split bead necklace, 1930s
Superb original Art Deco 2-part (spinach green and amber coloured) split bead bakelite necklace, dating from the 1930s. Have seen only two others like it – one, a book illustration, and the other worn by an antiques dealer in Brussels. Currently threaded on plastic wire, with small black glass spacers, and without a fastener (it fits over the head), so would benefit from rethreading. Otherwise in very good condition – see photos.
