Fabulous Art Deco Max & Norbert Neiger Czech Egyptian Revival Necklace

For your consideration is a stunning, rare and hard to find necklace made by master Czechoslovakian jewelry makers Max & Norbert Neiger dating to the 1920’s. The necklace has wonderful elements of Egyptian revival jewelry – an enameled winged Czech glass scarab at the top of the pendant, a peking glass King Tut who is surrounded and protected by asps and birds and a pyramid of the same Czech molded blue mottled art glass impressed with hieroglyphics on a background of brass metal and enameled Egyptian lotus flowers. No markings – most of their jewelry was not marked. Pendant measures 3″ in length including the scarab, 1 1/2″ in width at widest point and has a total drop length of 15 including the chain. In very good vintage pre-owned condition. Loss, a small soldered repair to the chain loop that is attached to the scarab on one side and two small indents to the brass metal rim at the top of the pendant commensurate with age and use – mentioned for accuracy sake – but overall in very beautiful condition.
