Art Deco Venetian Matched Peacock Millefiori Beads Long Glass Necklace. Rare and beautiful matched cane peacock cane Venetian millefiori beads with vivid blue, yellow, green, and white “thousand flowers” peacock canes. These are stunning millefiori. They are old beads, dating from the 1920s, the Art Deco period, or possibly a little earlier. They were made in Venice where the slices of millefiori cane were applied by hand. This gives them their unique, individual character, with each bead slightly different in design and shape. The beads are opaque and very smooth like Moretti beads. The colours are dramatic and beautiful, and the canes almost ornate. The necklace measures 36 inches, that’s 92cm with the largest bead a huge 3cm in length. The condition of the necklace is excellent, with no damage. Newly re-knotted with green spacers, the necklace has no clasp and simply pops over your head. This is a very striking, wonderfully designed necklace, with lovely, old, rare beads. The dramatic colour combination on the beads is simply stunning. Don’t miss it for your collection!
