Excellent condition – a nice size approx. 10ct carat old European OEC / Cushion cut diamond – or Mine Cut super fiery and sparkly diamond surrounded by four beautiful natural blue triangular french rose cut cobalt blue sapphire spinels. This’drop’ filigree Lavalier is at least platinum – not marked. The chain is marked 14k and 585 on the chain and c-clasp. The Lavalier chain measures approx. 17 inches long by approx. 1mm wide and the entire piece weighs 1.85 grams. This filigree lavalier does not have a maker’s hallmark, but rivals the quality of filigree work done by Belais Bros. Of the early 1900s. The small diamond is incredibly sparkly, along with a beautiful rose cut sapphire spinels weighing approx. They all appear to be in great condition – no chips or nicks! The filigree work and the stones are set with an open back so the light can enter and create the maximum sparkle. This would be a fantastic signature piece for a bride on her wedding day, or an amazing anniversary or birthday present to match her antique Deco engagement ring. The lavalier filigree piece measures approx. 11mm square – finely crafted and hand carved and heavily engraved filigree. The antique velvet presentation display box for necklaces is for display only and not included in this listing. We will include a gift box for you. This is the such an elegant piece – this would be spectacular for a bride on her wedding day or a special gift, romantic as a birthday or anniversary present. The shape reminds me of a Fleur-de-lis or shield shape, intricate hand carved filigree and beading setting. The cable link chain is 1mm in width – a nice size chain and is attached to the pendant securely on each side, it does not slide, it is stationary on the chain. The old European cut diamond is prong set securely in a’square’ setting and the rose cut sapphires are bezel set with open back for light. This is a genuine antique piece, elegant and classic. The stones have been checked over by our jeweler to be authentic (test by a Presidium Duotester and the gold has been acid tested as such). The stones are secure in their mounting.
