ART DECO Open Back Diamond Paste Crystal Bezel Set VINTAGE RIVIERE NECKLACE

Welcome to jewelbox :. Gorgeous riviere in a design that has been around for centuries and never bettered. The entire length is wired with dazzling clear cut glass crystal pastes which are table cut to the front and pointed to the back so that they resemble the old cut diamonds. They are claw set with lovely fat claws into individual bezel settings and they are open backed so that the light can flood through and make the most of the facets. The settings are in old strong brass that i absolutely love. The necklace is hand linked and fastens with a secure ring bolt clasp. I don’t think it would be possible for me to do this necklace justice against the skin it is just divine looking as crystalised water is dancing around the neck. This well worth it with these old necklaces as this is the sort of size they are. The crystals are app 9.5 or 10 mm in diameter. The necklace is in lovely original condition with one point a little less sharp after all this time. Gorgeous for a Bridal necklace too. Any boxes, mannequins or fabrics are for display only.
