Art Deco Natural Jadeite Jade 14K Gold Enamel Pendant & Akoya Pearl Necklace. Classic Art Deco period, circa 1920s, pendant clasp and Akoya pearl necklace. Featuring an antique 19. Century natural Jadeite Jade plaque carving of a lotus flower relief, open-work, dramatically and exotically framed in black and maroon enamel and 14K yellow gold. Pendant clasp measures just slightly over 1 ½ x 1. Further embellished with three strands of luscious creamy Akoya cultured salt water pearl. Secures with a box clasp, tongue and groove. In overall very good condition with no cracks on the Jade and only a few fissures, which is normal to the Jade of this age. The strands of pearl vary in sizes, with the bottom having an approximate average size between 7.25 7.50 mm, the middle with an average 7 mm, and the top 6.30 mm. The length of the necklace is considered a choker or collar depending on the circumference of the neck. The shortest strand, including part of the pendant, measures 14 inches; the longest with part of the pendant measures 16 ½ inches. Newly restrung and double knotted.
