Art Deco Antique Vintage Neiger Bros Lapis Czech Glass Egyptian Revival Necklace
Rare Art Deco Necklace. Vibrant Blue Lapis Glass Discs and Beads. Likely a Piece by the Famous Czech Neiger Brothers. It very much fits their style and is Beautifully Made, with metal links and screw clasp. Made in Former Bohemia, Now the Czech Republic. Gold Brass Caps with Intricate Detailing. Dates to the Art Deco Period 20s/30s and is likely an Egyptian Revival Piece. After the Discovery of Tutankhamun’s Tomb the World went Mad for Egyptian Motifs and Far Eastern Detailing. Pieces Like this Necklace were Created to Satiate this Demand but Such Beautiful Pieces are now Rare. This Necklace is in Mint Condition and Although it is almost 100 years old it is in Excellent Condition and Doesn’t Show it’s Years. The Necklace is around 19cm Long and the Largest Bead is around 2cm wide. This is a Truly Wonderful Piece and Would be the Perfect addition to any Antique/Vintage Collector’s Collection.
