Art Deco Amber Glass Pools of Light Necklace 23 Undrilled Orbs Sterling Silver
Scarce vintage twenty-three Inch Art Deco glass orb necklace with 14-mm (Just over 1/2-inch) glowing amber glass orbs in sterling silver cages. The colored glass variations of the popular rock crystal pools-of-light necklaces are scarce and highly sought after. This showy example has twenty-four rich cognac/copper-colored orbs well-wrapped in sterling silver wire with soldered rings at each end, each orb joined to its neighbor by a single oval jump-ring. Each orb is channeled to secure the wire. There is a marked “Sterling” jump ring and all of the various parts appear original and test positive for sterling silver. In very good vintage condition, several of the orbs have small nicks along the wire mounts where they are channeled, but nothing distract. They seems to be there during making, no damages found after that. A truly collectible piece.
