ANTIQUE VENETIAN LONG MATTEMILLEFIORI BEAD NECKLACE – ART DECO. ANTIQUE VENETIAN LONG MATTE MILLEFIORI BEAD NECKLACE – ART DECO. This is a beautiful Venetian millefiori bead necklace. The necklace graduates in size matte beads – all in very good condition. Several of the beads include the cane of a small black cross which I find only seems to be in the Antique necklaces. The largest bead measures 26mm in length, with the smallest 10mm. All beads of a good size. Small black spacer beads between the millefiori. The complete necklace is 91 cms (35-3/4 inches) long. I have restrung this necklace on a double length of synthetic bead thread for strength as the beads are heavy. It was broken when I acquired it so I added a good strong but Vintage silver sprung ring clasp. This is a beautiful Venetian bead necklace, restrung and all in excellent condition.
