Beautiful antique Art Deco very fine cultured Akoya pearl necklace measuring 19 in length. Each of its beautifully round and individually hand knotted pearls measures approximately 6.25mm to 6.50mm. Necklace weighs 24.1 grams. The pearls have a lovely luster with slight tones of pink on an ivory ground. Pearls have no damage and I can find no obvious blemishes. The necklace’s exquisite clasp is very Art Deco Etruscan in motif. The gold is intricately hand worked. Reverse side of clasp is stamped in an antique font 8 Ct. And there is a hallmark I cannot make out. Clasp is in excellent original condition as well. Rare to find an antique strand of pearls in such excellent original condition.
