Original Antique Art Deco Era (1930s) beaded with real quartz or Genuine Rock crystal pools of light matching SET of single strand of beads Necklace + Bracelet just came from private collection in Pristine condition. This is a rare and authentic antique “pools of light” SET from 1920 -1930 England. Genuine Art Deco era rock crystal beaded Demi Parure matching Set are nearly impossible to find. These quartz beaded jewelry were known as “pools of light” and were believed to bring the wearer good luck and good energy. One of the tests you can perform on rock crystal beads to see if they are genuine is to hold them above a written text. Only real ones will turn letters upside down within the prism of the crystal, glass beads do not have the same effect. Necklace: Single long strand of 44 beads – equal in size, approx. 10mm in diameter, knotted on silk rope with silvertone or silver plated smaller spacer beads inbetween and C-clasp, approx. 600mm or 23.5 long (clasp included) and weights 69 grams. Bracelet: matching to the Necklace, wrist bracelet with secure C-clasp/closure. It has 16 beads same sized approx. 10mm, 230mm or 9 long with 26 grams of weight. Total weight of SET is 95 grams. Condition: Excellent Estate with large bright beads and spacer bead, strong soft and flexible silk cords and secure clasps. Set looks unused or restrung with a new clasps.
