Antique 30’S ART DECO GERMANY LCW Sterling Chalcedony Marcasite Necklace-Detachable Brooch. Unique and Rare piece from 1930’s Germany. Signed LCW STERLING on both much in clasps. Center Chalcedony stone measures approx. 1 1/2″ long, 1 1/8″ wide. This rare piece is a necklace that converts to a brooch- the clasps of the necklace slide in and out to change this from a gorgeous necklace to an equally gorgeous brooch! Dark Blue marquise cut cobalt blue stones are individually prong set and linked together to make the necklace. The center large Chalcedony piece is fairly translucent and unique. There are four edges around the center Chalcedony that are set with small Marcasites. I believe one Marcasite is missing. Very hard to tell even under a loupe. Stunning Art Deco piece in beautiful condition!
