Beautifully done antique Victorian 18k two tone carved brown & white stone (agate) cameo pin. The carving has high relief of a lady that is bezel set into a yellow gold frame with gold ribbed accents. Marked 750 k on the back with safety latch. Measures about 1 1/8″ tall by 1.25″ wide, with the cameo having high relief carving at app. Some of the best carved details we’ve seen, from her hair to her earrings and pearls. Weighs 9.6 dwt or 4.17 grams. Throughout history, persons of royalty have set the tone for jewelry fashion.
