Vintage Art Deco CHERRY AMBER FATURAN BAKELITE Loose Prayer Beads Necklace 78g
Vintage Art Deco Cherry Amber Bakelite Beads. This lot consists of two different types of beads that came from a large collection of both cherry amber bakelite and genuine amber all from the first quarter of the 20th century, be sure to check my other listings. For some reason, these beads were tied together and knotted, like a few other groupings that came from this collection. As you can see, one type of bead is larger and a slightly lighter color red. There’s a total of 20 larger beads, measuring 25.5mm to 26mm. Take a close look at the incredible and sought after red color on these beads. The second picture shows them in natural light, another picture shows them outside under the sun, and another shows them over a flashlight to see the swirls inside. There’s a total of 23 of the smaller sized beads, which are also very rich in color with swirls on the inside you can see under the light. These beads measure 22.1mm in size. Total weight of the beads is 78 grams. These are early beads from the 1920’s or so, and are guaranteed authentic. They have been fully tested with simichrome polish for bakelite.
