Vintage 1920’s EXCEPTIONAL Art Deco CHRYSOPRASE Marcasite STERLING NECKLACE. Materials: Chrysoprase Stones, Marcasites and Sterling Silver. Marks: “STERLING ” on the back. 1 inch wide by 1 1/8 inches tall….. Not including the 1 1/8 inch drops. Length: 15 1/2 inches….. With the pendant and drops adding another 2 1/4 inches. Clasp: Original and Fully Functional. Date: 1920’s Art Deco. Offered here is a. Vintage Art Deco Chrysoprase and Sterling Necklace with Marcasites. This is an EXCEPTIONAL Chrysoprase necklace unique for its very Delicate profile….. And one of the Prettier Chrysoprase necklaces I’ve seen! It features a “Sugar Loaf” shaped Chrysoprase stone set in an Elegant open frame….. Adorned with Marcasites and embellished with cascading Sterling Silver drops that are also adorned with Marcasites. The pendant and its drops do have some movement when worn….. Suspending from complementing open link stations and followed with bezel-ed Chrysoprase stones….. The Paper Clip chain completes the piece. Condition: The Chrysoprase components are flawless….. And all the Marcasites are accounted for and perfect. The only flaw found is a missing end link on the central drop that was so insignificant to the beauty of the piece that it was not even noticed until seen in the highly magnified photos. A warm patina resides within the crevices that gives it more depth and contrast. This is an EXQUISITELY DESIGNED Art Deco necklace estimated to be circa 1920’s that is in Excellent vintage condition!
