Art Deco Platinum Diamond and Opal Pendant for Necklace. A unique piece, featuring a large glowing opal cabochon with so much fire- so much more than the photos- set at the center of an ornate diamond encrusted platinum frame. The platinum frame is actually an antique art deco watch face frame! It contains 4 glittering marquis diamonds, and 24 sparkling single cut diamonds, totaling approximately. They are VS diamonds, E-F color. The opal is 13×10.5×7.1mm. It is a solid opal, estimated at 6.05 carats. It has an intense even rolling fire throughout. The fire is dominantly green, and there are orange red and purple secondarily. It is a semi translucent opal, more on the opaque side. It is likely Ethiopian opal. The pendant is 30x14mm, or 1.25x. Weighing 3.9 grams. Because this was a part from a platinum watch, there is not a mark on it, but it is guaranteed and acid tested for solid platinum. The chain is just for display purposes.
