Art Deco Czech Amber Glass Necklace Choker Egyptian Revival Collar Bib 1930s. Art Deco, circa 1930’s, unsigned Czech amber glass and silver tone metal filigree necklace/choker with a spring ring clasp. Necklace has a large, 22mm by 16mm amber glass, hand cut polished and faceted open back cabochon that has been bezel hand set with two top arm prongs. Necklace consists of a scroll chain on both ends of collar. The collar consists of 4 pieces, with a wing section on each side, decorated with an Egyptian Revival motif, and are attached with a link. The center has an extraordinary Egyptian Revival motif and has the cabochon section dangling from two links. Necklace measures 15, so is a true choker length. The center hangs 4 3/4″ including the dangling section with the amber glass cabochon, which measures 2 1/4″ on the drop alone. Given a different colored background, the stone can also appear red, like a garnet. Condition: Very good antique condition with little to no wear.
