1920s Art Deco Signed Czech Geometric Glass Necklace Faceted Blue Triangles Vtg. From the 1920s – 30s, this stunning signed Czechoslovakia necklace boasts a quintessential Art Deco geometric design with faceted prong-set glass triangles and squares in an absolutely breathtaking shade of blue. The tops of the glass pieces have multiple facets, which emphasizes the geometric lines and maximizes the sparkle. The necklace lays beautifully and will set off your eyes and your outfit to perfection! It measures about 15-1/4″, extended, by a little over 5/8″ wide by about 1/4 deep. Signed “Czechoslovakia” on the spring ring clasp, it is set in brass. Please see the next to last photo for a close-up of the signature. The necklace is in Very Good vintage condition with just expected signs of light wear, such as dirt, scratches and a little tarnish, consistent with its almost a century’s age. Upon close inspection with my jeweler’s loupe (only) I note a little inconsequential roughness in the glass here and there. It is simply spectacular! Though made of brass and glass, it looks like a million bucks and comes from a time when great skill and care went into fashioning imitations of fine jewelry. This stunning necklace looks sensational on, goes with everything and will “make” your outfit. It would also make a terrific gift, although I doubt you will want to part with it, and will come to you in a gift box, just in case.
