Superb Antique 1920s Art Deco Czech Sautoir Necklace Venetian Murano Glass Beads
SUPERB ANTIQUE 1920S ART DECO CZECH SAUTOIR NECKLACE VENETIAN MURANO GLASS BEADS. Here is an exceptional sautoir necklace made in Czechoslovakia dating from the 1920s. It is made of gilt brass with luminous hand made venetian jade green glass beads with pink floral and green lattice work. The centerpiece has a spinning large bead and is decorated front and back with bezel set stones (the last two pictures are of the reverse side). It is amazing that it is still completely intact with no cracked or chipped glass. In excellent condition; only a tiny bit of verdigris on the bottom of the centerpiece. An exceptional one of a kind art piece. Length of chain: 27″ Size of pendant including drop: 4 5/8″ x 1 3/4. Total weight: 89.5 grams (57.6 dwt).
