Vtg. (Antique) Art Deco Statement Artisan Abalone Gold Tone 2 Strand Necklace
Unique, handcrafted gold tone statement double strand choker type necklace. This unusual necklace has gold painted rubber backing on each of square filigree type stations. The backs of round medallions are made of painted cardboard! Each station has a polished piece of Abalone attached to it. Has small hollow beads dangling from each station. The 4.50 extender is made of a light metal which is probably not the original chain. There is evidence of wear especially on the reverse side and edges of this piece commensurate to a vintage (possibly antique) piece of jewelry. It weighs 5.48oz.
