Vintage Signed Boma Art Deco Style Sterling Silver Marcasite Faux Pearl Necklace
Art deco style sterling silver necklace with shimmering marcasite and 3 faux peals measures approximately 1 3/8″ wide across the center, down to 3/4″ wide around the sides and back, and 19 1/2 long overall. The semi-circle center links and the inside of the clasp all have the “925” sterling mark, and the center pearl link has the “BOMA” mark as well, as shown. Three of the tear-drop shape adornments which cover the actual “links” that connect the oval links together are missing, two on one side of the clasp and one on the other side of the clasp as shown. Since this is in the back of the necklace, it is not noticeable from the front, and if you found it bothersome, you my just want to remove a second tear-drop from the one side, to make it more symmetrical in appearance. Otherwise in very good condition, with no missing marcasite stones that I can find, and just needs light polishing. Great art deco style!!
