Vintage Diamante Necklace by Schreiber & Hiller Germany Exquisite Art Deco

Captivating, top quality necklace, made during the Art Deco era 1930s in Germany by Schreiber & Hiller. This gem is not signed by the designer – it was probably part of a parure that only had the signature on one of its other pieces in the set. This is one of the earlier pieces probably 1930’s. Elegant and uniquely feminine design – a ravishing showpiece!! Top quality diamante tank track necklace. This type of bezel-set crystals are extremely difficult to find today and the engraving on the tracks is amazing. Faceted white, sparkly crystals are set in channels placed in a wing-like design. This method of stone setting gives the piece a look of quiet elegance and makes it look very much like genuine diamonds. The channels are curved and the necklace sits beautifully at the base of your neck. The spring ring clasp works well and is secure. The length of the necklace can be adjusted from 14 inches (36 cm) up to 16 inches (41 cm); the center section measures 3 inches (7.6 cm) X 1 3/8 inches (9.5 mm).
