Vintage Art Deco ” Otis ” Sterling & Brilliant round rhinestones chocker necklace. This is a perfect example of Classy, Sophisticated, Simple and Minimalistic Art Deco design and style. From the catalog – The catalog describes these pieces as “Sterling silver mounting; rhodium finish”, which means they were made after the early 1930s, when the rhodium-plating process was introduced. Pls see the last picture from the catalog. Excellent, flawless, shiny, sparkly, vibrant, silky to touch, smooth, flexible setting. All the brilliant round cut rhinestones are evenly sparkly and shiny. Even colored and brilliant round cut rhinestones are original and shinning like stars! On both the side tennis link setting are smooth, flexible and silky to touch. All the rhinestones are original, set firmly in channel setting. It has been professionally machine cleaned, which makes it look new. I have listed a matching and heavy bracelet, which is equally in great sparkling condition separately. Bracelet is also professionally cleaned which looks new. Center piece is intricately designed and on two sides brilliant rhinestones tennis links are channel set with great flexibility. Fold over Clasp shuts firmly, the flap style closer has maker’s mark – ” Otis “and two ends has marking ” sterling ” at the back side of the clasp. I can go on and on praising this extremely well preserved chocker but will let amazing pictures do the talking. Size – when closed – little shy of 14. Center – 2 3/8 ” x 3/8″. Each flexible channel set rhinestones links – 5. Clasp – 1 1/8.
