Vintage Art Deco Dark Blue Peking Glass Czech Neiger Style Necklace
A stunning Art Deco period gold tone metal ornate necklace with vibrant dark blue peking glass beads. The ring that the clasp fastens to does have some lettering stamped into it but I can’t make out what it reads. The necklace is very much in the style of the Neiger brothers but as their work was rarely signed I can’t say for certain, I’m very confident though that this is Czech in origin. This will be sent in the grey plastic pre-owned gift box shown in the photo, however this box is not original to the necklace. In good vintage condition with light tarnishing to the metal. The large centre bead has a couple of small white marks on one side(see pic), on looking at these under magnification I can see that they’re manufacturing defect in the glass, not damage. Length: 41.5 cm.
