A FABULOUS antique/vintage Art Deco Bohemian Czech satin art glass beads necklace. The Czechs were expert at making glass beads which mimicked real gemstones and these have become even more collectable now than the real thing. These beads are no exception – they imitate Malachite amazingly well and they have a wonderful iridescence to them. They are an unusual triangular wedge shape and they gently graduate in size – they are heavy too. The beads are in excellent condition, with no damage that I can find. The necklace is hand-knotted, denoting quality. You just can’t beat a hand-knotted necklace for strength and durability. It is a lovely elegant long length and fastens with a screw barrel clasp.
