Vintage Art Deco 935 Solid Silver Marcasite Necklace. Necklace is in very good condition. The piece is beautifully made and features an ornate scroll and ribbon design. There are 5 segments all beautifully tooled and bead set with marcasites. The chain is a paper clip style which secures with a large bolt ring closure. The back of the central section is stamped 935 for a silver content of 935/1000, a higher grade than sterling. This is a silver content only used in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. There is no damage to the piece and no repairs or missing stones. The central section is 100mm in length the largest panel is 20mm long. The length of the necklace is 390mm.
