Vintage Antique Art Deco Rock Crystal Step Glass Paste Open Back Necklace

This piece is an authentic RARE Art Deco crystal necklace in a breathtaking geometric pattern of LARGE TRIANGULAR STEP CUT faceted stones. This is such a grand piece of the glamour of the Deco era. The reflective prism colors on this shine brighter than others! Such a rare and unique design! These are some of the best chunky crystals. Measure 15 in wearable length with about a 1.75 center dramatic drop. The sparkle on this piece is amazing! LOOK at the main crystal. Have you ever seen this shape or cut? It domed like a turtle shell. The way the facets reflect light and shine, it will wow you in person. Platinon is the base metal which is rare to come by and was a material used to mimic platinum! Overall in good vintage condition with minor flea bites and with a couple worn edges. Base metal is stamped PLATINON. There are 2 worn edges/ minor chips upon close inspection on the bottom triangle drop and one edge of the top small triangles. Please see photos for reference. It does not hinder the overall appearance but need to be made aware. I will say this is in good vintage condition for a piece nearly 100 years old , but is still considered preloved.
