Vintage Antique Art Deco Czech Rose Filigree Turquoise Blue Glass Ombré Necklace

A RARE favorite amongst us Art Deco collectors! This is a magnificent STAMPED CZECH opaque ombré molded glass necklace in beautiful bright glowing blues! This piece is stamped Czech on the jump ring. Three Triangular Glass/Metal Pendants: one – 1 1/4″L x 1 1/4″W , two – 3/4″L x 5/8″. A popular and elaborate style of jewelry, now known as Czech transitional style jewelry, was made in Bohemia. Bohemia became known as Czechoslovakia after World War I. During the 1920s and 1930s, Czech jewelry was highly sought after in the United States. It was exported in large quantities. Lesser known is that exquisite glass beads and glass stones were also exported to America in large quantities. They were used in the costume pieces of the famous design houses of the day like Haskell and Trifari. This was because the glassmakers of Bohemia, especially those from the town of Gablonz (now Jablonec), had been perfecting their craft for over 300 years prior. Hard to come by ones in such great condition. This is your chance! Measures 16 in wearable length. All stones appear to have minor to no flea bites or chips. Normal wear on back side of brass for its age of nearly 100 years! All stone feel secure in their settings. This would be considered very good vintage condition.
