A wonderful antique Art Deco Spider and Fly Pendant set with fine Aquamarine and Garnet gems! The gorgeous spider and fly are set with two round faceted Aquamarines. The spider has an oval faceted garnet body. The jewels are set in 9 Carat Gold. The spider and fly date to the Victorian – Art Deco period when insect inspired jewelry was sweeping the land. This whimsical pair dance delightfully around the neck and create a conversation piece to be passed on for generations. And insect inspired jewels are all the rage today. The spider and fly date to circa 1890 – 1930. The spider and fly pendant is 50 mm (2 inches) long including the bales. The spider is 17mm long and 20mm wide. The fly is 13mm 1/2.
