Beautiful Antique Ornate Sterling Silver Engraved Pendant/Locket Necklace
Lovely antique, Art Deco ornate, engraved sterling silver pendant/locket with chain. This antique necklace features a 2 1/4″ long, including the bail, by 3/4″ wide by 3/16″ deep locket/pendant that hangs on a newer vintage 25″ sterling silver curb link chain with a large spring ring clasp. This necklace weighs 18.3 grams altogether. The pendant/locket is very fine with a unique, elegant shape and lovely engraved detail. It is personalized at center with the initials, “HEM”. The interior is a shimmery, bright silver with two places for photographs that have their original frames and celluloid. This locket has no dings nor dents and is sturdy and well made with no damage other than minor, age appropriate surface wear or oxidation. It is really a lovely piece. The chain is also very nice, hefty and well made. It is in VERY good vintage condition. It looks almost new. This necklace would make a lovely gift for a collector. The locket is not signed, that I could find, but it has been professionally tested as solid sterling silver, as has the chain, which is stamped, “925” on the clasp and attached designer’s tag.
