ART DECO Open Back MULTI FACET Diamond Paste Crystal VINTAGE RIVIERE NECKLACE

Welcome to jewelbox :. Gorgeous riviere in a design that has been around for centuries and never bettered. The entire length is wired with dazzling clear cut glass crystal pastes and is extra special, i think, as it has two different shapes which gives extra texture to the reflected light. The square cuts are each interspersed with three round cuts all with table cutting at the top and pointed backs. They are claw set with lovely twin claws into individual bezel settings and they are open backed so that the light can flood through and make the most of the facets. The necklace is hand linked and fastens with a secure ring bolt clasp. I don’t think it would be possible for me to do this necklace justice against the skin it is just divine. The larger square crystals are app 9 mm square. The necklace is in lovely original condition with only one crystal that i can see retained a little flea bite to its point right at the back next to the clasp. The crystals all sparkle and the metal shines, with the only part showing light wear being the clasp, and the necklace looks like it is still waiting to be worn after all this time. Gorgeous for a Bridal necklace too. Any boxes, mannequins or fabrics are for display only. Everything is photographed in natural light with a flash.
