Exquisite one of a kind Art Deco Egyptian Revival necklace features pressed glass cameo pendant set in decorative brass frame and eight gorgeous pressed step glass pieces reminiscent of steps to a pyramid. The color of the step glass pieces alternate between neutral beige and vibrant orange and are coated with chrome on the edges and bottoms of the glass. Each piece is attached to the brass chain and capped by enameled glittering gold beads with deep red and orange border and brass caps. It closes with a spring clasp. This is a fabulous showstopping necklace. It is an excellent example of true Art Deco Egyptian Revival jewelry fit for a museum. The total length is 17 1/8 long. The cameo focal measures 2 1/4″ long x 1 3/4″ wide. Each of the glass pieces measure 1 3/8″ long x 7/8″ wide. The entire decorative bib measures 8 across when lying flat. Very good overall with age commensurate wear. The back of the pieces show crazing, the edge of one of the pieces has a small chip; there’s some wear to the chrome around the edges and oxidation to the chain. This piece has NOT been cleaned. On the fourth day an unpaid item case will be opened and the item will be relisted. If you need to make changes to your address please do so before you pay.
