Art Deco Egyptian Czech glass festoon necklace. This piece features a Egyptian revival design with brown geometric glass pieces and gold tone over brass metal. It has three layers of snake chains and there are 3 pieces that dangle at the bottom. It closes with a fancy box style slide clasp. Age: estimated circa 1920’s – 30’s Hallmarks: there are no hallmarks or makers marks. It has the construction and materials of jewelry made in Czechoslovakia. At the shortest it measures approximately 19-1/2 long from end to end (clasped). Condition: this piece is in very good condition, consistent with age. There is no damage, only mild patina on the chains. There are no notable chips or cracks on the glass pieces, only some minor edge wear noticeable under magnification. The clasp closes securely.
