Description: This 1930s Art Deco carved ivory look Galalith necklace detailed and stunning! This necklace is part of my own private collection spanning 30 years. It is a beautiful piece that has received many compliments in its lifetime. However it would not react to the same extent as some of the other antique pieces I own. Galalith is a synthetic plastic material manufactured by the interaction of casein and formaldehyde. A fabulous addition to your early plastics collection! It is also light weight.
