Beautiful Antique Art Deco HUGE Chunky Cherry Bakelite Faceted Bead Necklace Marcasite Clasp. Circa 1920’s – 30’s. Looks Stunning Whenever it Catches The Light! The Necklace will come in a Gift Box Hand Tied with Ribbon and would make a GORGEOUS GIFT! A fabulous antique Art Deco graduated, faceted, chunky, cherry red bakelite beads necklace. The beads are hand-knotted, which not only looks lovely, but it has also stood the test of time. The necklace fastens with a rhodium plated, marcasite set clasp. A metal of the platinum family, which was used to prevent tarnish and the clasp is still wonderfully shiny even now. I love this type of. Clasp – it’s almost impossible for a necklace to slip off when wearing one of these. S been tested with Simichrome polish and gives a very positive result (please see last photo). A simply beautiful piece. Everything is ALL ORIGINAL. Necklace measures approximately: 20. The largest central bead measures a whopping: 25.5mm x 19.2mm!
