The stones appear to be untreated, but we are not certified gemologists. Stone(s) have been tested and guaranteed using a professional Presidium Duo refractive, heat, and hardness tester. Siberian amethyst is now the common or popular name for the vibrant dark purple of the stone, although most of the valuable amethyst are found in South America.
