During the Art Deco Era jewelers would often make pieces to order, which would take weeks to craft by hand! Madeira Citrine during the Art Deco Period were extremely rare and highly sought after. Madeira Citrine get’s it’s name from Madeira Wine off the coast of Portugal, it deeply resembles this beautiful wine’s color. The Madeira Citrine gem stone in this piece is beautifully Emerald cut and show cases gorgeous facets that reflect light beautifully off of their surface! The gem stone show cases its signature deep orange color with a beautiful clarity that is absolutely incredible to look into! The gem stone is in great condition and weighs in at a generous 8.92 Cts. The gold work in this piece would of been beautifully hand carved by a talented artist of the Art Deco Era!
