Outstanding Hand Beaded Black and Gold Foiled Multi-Strand Layered Venetian Seed Bead Statement Necklace! This is an outstanding 1920 1930’s necklace. Photos and video do not do the sparkle justice! It GLITTERS like the sun. There are 3 different color bundle strands: Yellow Gold, Rose Gold, and Black. High quality weight to it. Extremely Fine Quality of Construction. The Decorated box clasp would have been worn in the front on the side but it can be worn a multitude of ways! Beaded Box Clasp – flat back attached to another gold metal circular finding plate with evenly space holes through which the beads are sew onto and then a flat metal 4 prong back to cover the wires. BEADS: OVER 10,000 beads!! All Venetian glass foiled beads, gold and rose gold beads made with real 22k gold. All individually hand strung Each layer has 6 strands for a total of 18 strands all together. I tried to count the beads but it was almost impossible. There is around about 400 beads each strand, 6 strands in first bundle. 600 beads per strand second bundle. 800 beads third bundle. Estimate around 10,000 beads! BEAD SIZE:2 mm. TOTAL NECKLACE LENGTH: 40 (end of clasp to clasp). LENGTH OF FIRST LAYERED GOLD STRAND. LENGTH OF SECOND LAYERED ROSE GOLD STRAND: approx 34. LENGTH OF THIRD LAYERED BLACK STRAND. CONDITION: GREAT ORIGINAL CONDITION! This necklace was stored very well and only worn a few times a long time ago.
