Antique Art Deco Jewellery Sterling Silver Amethyst Paste Drops Vintage Necklace

Welcome to Jewel Box :. A magnificent piece in Sterling Silver with decorative panels to the centre and cut glass glass crytals to emulate amethysts. There are five panels finely modelled as leaves which link to three which are open worked with fine millegrain settings from which hang the three elegant cut glass crystals. The remainder of the necklace is formed of elongated stamped links which are hand linked for flexibility and the necklace fastens with a delightful decorative hook clasp. The Silver is not marked which is quite often the case with these but i have had the piece tested by my Jeweller and it is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver (ie 925 parts of 1000 is Silver). Total length 16.3 inches including the clasp. Total length excluding the clasp and final jump ring app 15.75 inches. Drop at centre front is 30 mm, Length of crystals just under 20 mm app. Mild tarnish in the details in the Silver which i have not cleaned as everyone likes their Silver a different colour.
