Antique 1914 1918 WW1 Ottoman Turkish Prisoner Of War Beaded Snake Necklace
New to the market, acquired from first and only previous owner! When I first acquired this snake it did not have a way to be fastened so in order for it to be worn as a necklace I have attached a silver hook (hallmarked 925) on the tail which fastens with a ring hidden in the mouth. Done with great care to give purpose other than decorative. This could easily be removed if you wished it to be purely decorative again. Due to age the item is fragile with a few missing beads and should be worn with care.
